HERITAGE IS EVERYTHING
YEYE means “paternal grandpa” in Mandarin Chinese. Our studio is dedicated to Dylan’s grandfather Chan Kai Poh (25th June 1939 – 30th March 2022), who helped raise her. This heritage is what guides us as a studio. It is our north star pointing towards authenticity.
Every design we create must have this ingredient of authenticity.
DYLAN CHAN
For the past three years, Dylan has successfully run YEYE Design Studio, consistently attracting a steady stream of clients and delivering impactful projects. Highlights include the viral SMASHD campaign, branding for the 900k-strong Dadpack community, creative direction for LA-based magazine Space On Space, and collaborations with prestigious higher education institutions like Singapore Management University (SMU) and NUS College. These diverse projects have showcased her ability to deliver innovative, tailored solutions across industries.
MATTHEW ROOP
Matthew Roop is a graphic designer with roots in Tennessee, New York, Singapore, and beyond. Before founding YEYE, he worked at some of the most renowned design studios in the world, including &Walsh, Sagmeister & Walsh, Foreign Policy, and Lippincott. Following his time in agencies, Matthew served as Vice President of Design at ZEBEDEE, where he gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by startups and tech companies. This experience has equipped him with the empathy and expertise necessary to help businesses achieve their goals. With years of experience in developing comprehensive branding systems, he leads teams with a strong emphasis on empathy, quality, and depth.
